From the Editor's Desk

The Only Magazine for Humans, Nonhumans, and Everyone in Between

From where is this publication emerging, you ask? Well, it's been bubbling for months now. Many subscribers love the content that I was writing before, but were yearning for more. More stories, more insights, more variety. As the feedback piled up, I slowly began to realize that.. maybe I can, and maybe I should.. transition to a full seasonal magazine. Not just that, either, but one overflowing with a little bit of everything the season calls for:

I find that I often wind up writing and creating things that I am reaching for.. and coming up empty for. That seems to be my niche here in this society, and I'm happily going to own it. That's how Tales From The Rift, my The Cat Knew series, and my Enchanted Objects books were born, after all. It's how this website has come to be. The same applies to my candles, teas, holy fragrances, the new line that Artemaeus and I are finalizing, and the witchy new goodies I'm making for you here.

So, cheers to us! The misfits and mavericks, the darlings and darklings.

Whoever you are, whichever density, across the timelines and around the vibrations-

Your voice is always welcome here at Intermediary Magazine, the only magazine for humans, nonhumans, and everyone in between😉

Love,
Tillie Treadwell, Editor

The Enchanted Autumn Issue- the magazine's very first- arrives September 1. Each season's edition lives in the Library, where Inner Table subscribers read it the way a magazine wants to be read: page by turning page. Printed copies are coming soon, too- a season you can hold in your hands.

As for who fills those pages- pull up a chair and meet them. These are the writers we trust with the strange, and the voices you'll be curling up with, season after season.

Artemaeus

Contributing Writer

Experiencer, unconventionally trained in human psychology, evolutionary biology, and animal behavior- the practical eye behind the paranormal work he and Tillie do together. He is the steadying presence at events and the man behind the camera on the Weird Walk Home YouTube channel. At home, time glitches, apports, and disappearing objects are positively common events- and they all end up on the page.

Tim R. Swartz

Tim R. Swartz

Contributing Writer

Emmy Award-winning television producer, longtime favorite guest on Coast to Coast AM, and a face you may know from the History Channel's Ancient Aliens and The UnXplained. Tim is the publisher behind Zontar Press, editor of Conspiracy Journal since 1998, and author of The Lost Journals of Nikola Tesla and many more.

Jim Edward Lucier

Jim Edward Lucier

Contributing Writer

A veteran trance channeler, author, and experiencer from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, with dozens of books to his name- among them Astral Schematics and The Epic of Aradia. Jim appeared on Coast to Coast AM with Connie Willis in July of 2026, discussing his channeled premonitions, aliens, and the Hollow Earth.

Dana Knoetgen

Dana Knoetgen

Contributing Writer

Host of Paranormal Encounters- also known as Light Talk with Dana- and an oracle card reader, psychic, and photograph reader based in Denver. Dana reads live on Truth and Light with Summer and Dana, and you can meet her in person at the High Spirit Holistic Show in Cheyenne this September. She writes true tales from her own haunted doorstep- read with the lights on.

Michael Kopf

Michael Kopf

Contributing Writer

Paranormal investigator, Reiki Master, and host of three shows- Paranormal Vs. with the UK's Kell Ridley, The Energy That Surrounds Us, and Riding Through the Unknown. Michael has run more than 120 investigations, from the notoriously haunted Fort Wolters in Texas to the Grand Canyon, and has been seeing past the veil since the age of two.

Kurt Konecny

Kurt Konecny

Contributing Writer

Co-host of The Strange Sessions podcast and a lifelong Wisconsin native who investigates poltergeists, abductions, time travel, and Bigfoot with Heartland Paranormal Investigations. Kurt believes the world is far stranger than anyone realizes- and that this is a good thing.

Christopher Mechen

Christopher Mechen

Contributing Writer

Researcher with The SEPI Agency and co-author, with Jade Mechen, of Loving the Unloving. Christopher brings the statistical spine to the strange- pattern-hunting across civilisations, CE5 fieldwork, and asking the questions the rest of us circle at 2am.

Lena Ballinger

Lena Ballinger

Contributing Writer

Born in Germany and in the States since 2001, Lena's fascination with what lies past the boundary began at the bedsides of terminally ill patients- sitting with them, and witnessing their transitions to the other side. The paintings that grew from those hours became her Soul Transitions series, joined by her Water Energizing Coasters- she has structured water for twenty-five years- and the hand-wrought copper jewelry that readers, seers, and clairvoyants urged her to share. She is the maker behind Indigoma Art, working events across the circuit- and, with Tillie, crafting custom healing pieces: divine design from one, coppersmith's hands from the other.
